Practice of Kung Fu or Chinese martial arts requires dedication and diligence. Something that takes time and practice to achieve is called Gong Fu or Kung Fu 功夫.
Just as the music would soothe our weary souls, and calm our spirits, the practice of Kung Fu would discipline our mind and strengthen our body.
Many teachers inspired me over the years. This site is dedicated to them. As the saying goes, whenever we have a drink of water, we have to think about the source of the water or where the spring/fountain of water comes from. Yin Shui Si Yuan 饮水思源
I have accumulated a lot of notes from daily practice since 1970s. There are not a lot of books about Chinese martial arts published in English. I therefore started to compile my notes into books.
This site lists some information about the books that I published.
We compile notes from our daily practice and publish them in books. Hopefully, the books would interest general public and encourage them to seek out a teacher for lessons.
If you are a practitioner already, the books will help you to analyze and review your practice.
If you are a beginner, the books will help you as a study and practice guide. The books also highlight key points to pay attention to when a student is learning directly from a teacher.
If you are just interested in a certain style of Chinese martial arts, the books will provide some essential information, so that you may make an informed decision to pick a style to study and practice.
These are goals of the books.
Please call the publisher for a lower pricing of the books.
